Why I Like To Workout!

Working out may not be fun for a lot of people, but for me I love it. When I exercise it is a way for me to clear my head and just get away for a little while. It is also a great time for me to pray and just talk to God. I prefer to workout on my own and not in a class setting. This gives me the freedom to do what I want and to just escape and really connect more with God. Working out doesn't necessarily mean going to the gym or going to run, it can be many other activities that can help you get in shape. One of the best ways to workout, if I don't want to go to the gym, is swimming. I don't know about you but I love to swim and I'm actually a lifeguard and have thought swimming lessons for the past few years. With swimming being fun you don't think of it as working out even though you are, and it's also still a great way to escape to your thoughts. I know that when I workout I feel so good after. Now don't get me wrong I don't enjoy the feeling of being sore the next day or two, but at least that tells me that what I did at the gym was working. Going to college a lot of people, even if they were athletes in high school, don't workout. I personally try to push myself to workout every day even if it's only for 30 minutes because in the long run that still makes a difference. Knowing that I am working out an improving myself instead of sitting at home eating junk or watching Netflix, while those things are fun, makes me feel so good.  I encourage you to go out and try to workout at least 30 minutes a day because I promise it makes a difference.
